Our wines are handcrafted and our goal is to produce wines that exhibit the unique terroir characteristics of our area. Our whites are light, fruity and crisp. Our reds are robust and well balanced. Since our fruit is local, we have chosen proprietary names for our wines based on local geographic area features.

Watauga Lake Winery produces wine for every palate. From a dry Seyval and Chancellor wine to a sweet dessert wine. Watauga Lake Winery wines have been recognized in regional competitions including "Wines of the South", "Asheville Food and Wine Festival," and the "Mid-Atlantic Southeast Wine Competition."
